About Me

“I am a former Texas Professional Home Inspector with 4,700 inspections,” says Richard Hunter, who joined the Sherman Office of Ebby Halliday Realtors. “I now want to help my neighbors with the entire process of buying and selling homes.”

My professional background offers homebuyers and sellers an agent who possesses an exceptional ability to understand and interpret the functionality of a home combined with extensive knowledge of Texomaland.

My family has called Texomaland home for over 150 years. My wife Janet and I have been married for 40 years and have lived in Denison for the past 34 years. We enjoy discovering new places to kayak and new restaurants.

I have been involved in community service in the area.  It has been my privilege to be a volunteer teacher at Choice Moore Prison in Bonham for over 15 years.  I teach a faith-based life-skills class that covers a wide range of topics, including emotional control, perceptions, the difference between wants and needs, and relationships with family and friends. The class is designed to help inmates as they transition back to their families and into society. My expertise in these skill-sets will benefit my clients as I help them transition to a new home.

I take pride in offering clients a sincere focus on trust, integrity and hard work combined with the expertise necessary to successfully complete real estate transactions in this age of technology.

I am a full-time Realtor and a member of the Greater Texoma Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
