Kathy’s background is the result of working over 15 years in the Architectural Design and Construction market in Dallas, Texas prior to becoming a Real Estate Agent for Williams Trew. Her senior level business development, marketing, and sales background have proven to be an asset to the residential market. She has a broad knowledge of construction, buying and selling trends in the DFW area, negotiating, and earning the trust of her clients.
She was the former “key contact” and liaison for many corporate clients due to the fact that she was able to communicate the wants, needs, and budgets back to her firm so that there was an assured delivery of a successful product, on time and within budget. Kathy prepared her design or construction teams for project interviews with an innate ability to “read” her clients. By earning the trust of those clients, she garnered repeat business. She is no stranger to the politics of business. This has translated seamlessly to her residential clients.
Kathy loves helping a client find their home whether it’s a condo, townhome, home in the city, waterfront or ranch property. She has sold properties from $80,000 into the millions. She keeps a watchful eye on the market, the rise and fall of interest rates and informs her clients accordingly.
There is a sense of pride in finding the perfect home for clients and Kathy has built long-standing trust and list of testimonials from her clients.
Kathy was born and raised in Texas where she received her degree in speech pathology and audiology from the University of North Texas. Her people skills are what helps make her a success. She is a board member for AASHA, Azle Animal Shelter Humane Association, and a board member on the city council of Azle, place 1 for the Crime and Prevention District. Giving back to the community, helping people and animals is a long-standing passion for Kathy. She is a member of the Azle Chamber of Commerce, North East Parker County Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.
She was formerly with CREW of Fort Worth. She was awarded the Atlanta, Georgia Magnolia Award for Promoting Women in Construction and many years ago was a representative for Wise County in the Miss Texas Pageant.
She and her husband have two grown sons, love to spend time outdoors on the water, boating, traveling, doing interior remodel projects, riding her BMW motorcycle, and, having her private pilot's license, flying thru the blue skies of North Texas.
In her own words, “ I am always doing things I was told I can’t do”.
