What is Dallas/Ft Worth real estate all about?

The Metroplex (as we call it) is a very diverse area with lots of cool neighborhoods and things to do.   Pretty much anyone can find an area that suits their living and recreational needs unless you require an ocean or mountains.  😉  From downtown condos to suburban single-family homes to country acreage, you can find it all here!   And if good schools are important (aren’t they always) we have that covered too! You can find 4A, 5A and 6A districts plus private and charter schools.   If you’d like I can provide school rating information too! In addition to a robust highway & tollway system, we also have public trains and buses to get you where you need to go.   

What about home prices?

In general, our home prices are still very affordable.   In recent years, we saw pretty quick growth in home prices due to an inventory shortage and so many people looking to call the area home.   While that growth has leveled out some, our market is still strong, just more “normal”.   

Where should I look for a home?

I’d base that decision on what you like to do, where you will be working, preferred school districts, budget, and style of home – those are the big five factors why people decide where to look.

What I love about my career in real estate is while the buying and selling part are pretty much the same, the clients and circumstances in each transaction are most certainly not the same.  Each transaction is unique because of the properties and people involved so there’s never a dull moment! And I service all areas of the Metroplex!

Continuing education is also a priority for me.   I take as many classes as my schedule allows and certainly more than the state requires for license renewal.   Always keep learning and sharpening your skills to better serve your clients.

About me personally - I am married with one child who plays high school baseball with the goal of playing in college, so when I’m not working with clients, I’m likely at a baseball field somewhere.   Or maybe wrangling my rescue dogs. Or volunteering for PTA or through the service organization I helped bring to Texas, boy’s team charity.
